Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has extensive experience in planning and regulatory services, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Development Officer for the City of Worcester since October 2013, after progressing through various positions including Chief Planner and Senior Planner. Prior experience includes roles at Community Legal Aid as an Executive Assistant, where Michelle managed communications, data analysis, and grant preparation, and a master's education in Community Development and Planning from Clark University. Throughout the career, Michelle has engaged in diverse roles, including teaching, program evaluation, and mentoring, demonstrating a strong commitment to community development and urban farming initiatives, alongside a solid foundation in geography.
