Vaske Gjino

Assistant Chief Development Officer at City of Worcester

Vaske Gjino has extensive experience in economic and community development, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Development Officer and Business & Community Development Coordinator for the City of Worcester since June 2019. Prior to this role, Vaske worked as an Economic Development Associate at the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce from November 2017 to June 2019. Earlier in career, Vaske held positions at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, first as a Research Assistant focused on the Massachusetts Innovation Economy Index and then as a Research Intern contributing to the annual publication of the Innovation Index. Additionally, work experience includes serving as a Planning Technician at the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission, where data collection and GIS mapping were conducted. Vaske Gjino holds a Master of Public Administration from Clark University, attained in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same institution, completed in 2015.
