Corey Parker, CPP, has been serving as a Recreation Programmer for the City of Wylie, Texas, since July 2015, overseeing daily operations of the recreation facility, staff management, and program development while handling budget preparation and evaluation of personnel. Additionally, Corey has been a Personal Trainer and Guest Services Specialist at Coreytheptcoach since March 2020, alongside a prior role as a Shoe Salesperson at Kohl's from August 2013 to July 2015 and Food Server at Spicehouse of India from April 2013 to June 2014. Corey holds two Associate's degrees from Collin College in Kinesiology and Exercise Science as well as Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies, and an additional Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.

Following each election, the Council selects a fellow Council member to serve as Mayor ProTem.
