Paul Gerndt, IV has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Paul currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at the City of Wyoming, MI, starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked for the City of Wyoming, Michigan, where they served as the Information Systems Supervisor since August 1996. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects, planning and directing system upgrades and installations, performing business analysis, and integrating systems.

Before their tenure with the City of Wyoming, Gerndt worked as a Field Engineer at Information Decisions Incorporated from February 1996 to August 1996. Paul also had the role of Network Administrator at Earth Tech, Inc. from February 1995 to February 1996.

Paul Gerndt, IV holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Ferris State University. Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business/Office Automation/Technology/Data Entry from Grand Rapids Community College. In terms of certifications, Paul completed the High Impact Leadership Training offered by Humanergy Inc. | Impactful Leadership Development in May 2022. Paul also obtained the Novell Certified Netware Engineer certification in October 1994.
