Jing Chen

Jing Chen is an experienced accountant with a strong background in financial management and analysis. Currently serving as Accountant II for the City of Ypsilanti since February 2022, Jing previously held various accounting positions, including Accountant at China Custom Manufacturing and San Mateo County Transit District, where responsibilities included processing international accounts, year-end closings, and managing high volumes of invoices. Jing's earlier experience as a Finance Generalist for the City of Ypsilanti involved grant monitoring, auditing, and accounts payable processes. Jing holds a Master of Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, along with a Bachelor’s degree and an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the same institution and Washtenaw Community College, respectively.
