Jeremy Jeffcoat has a strong background in IT management and network infrastructure. Jeremy started their career in 2003 in the United States Air Force as a Network Infrastructure System Technician, responsible for maintaining network connectivity. Jeremy then worked for Yuma County from 2007 to 2010, where they managed the county's LAN, WAN, and server infrastructure. Jeremy joined the Yuma County Sheriff's Office in 2010 and held various roles, including Network Manager and Senior Network Manager, where they administered and managed voice and data networks, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. In 2019, they became the IT Manager for the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, overseeing a team of IT professionals and implementing innovative cybersecurity measures. In 2022, Jeremy joined the City of Yuma, Arizona as the Assistant IT Director for YRCS.

Jeremy Jeffcoat has a comprehensive education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Jeremy began their academic journey at the Community College of the Air Force from 2003 to 2007, earning an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) degree in Electronic Systems Technology. Moving forward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology/Business Systems Analyst from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. In 2019, Jeremy attended Arizona State University and obtained a certification as a Certified Public Manager. Currently, they are enrolled at Grand Canyon University, where they are expected to complete their Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security in 2022.
