Tessa Cannon

Tessa Cannon, MPP, PMP, currently serves as the Administrative and Office Manager at City Parks Alliance and is the founder of The Wandering Shelf, LLC, a mobile bookstore in Arlington, Virginia. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at World Vision, where Tessa held various project management roles focusing on operational effectiveness, global grant acquisition, and food security advocacy. Tessa led the integration of Workday for organizational efficiency and spearheaded international learning initiatives. Earlier roles include digital advocacy work at Bread for the World and internships that enhanced skills in communications and project support. Tessa holds a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis with a focus on Sustainable Development from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from California Baptist University.
