Erica Newman

Erica Newman is a seasoned operations executive with extensive experience in educational and non-profit organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at City Parks Foundation since July 2021, Erica previously held the position of Vice President of Operations at Harlem Village Academies from July 2017 to August 2021. Prior roles include Director of Operations and School Support at Public Preparatory Network, and Director of Operations at Girls Prep Bronx, as well as Assistant Director of External Affairs at Success Charter Network. Erica's career began at Diageo as an Associate Brand Manager for Johnnie Walker. Erica holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Spelman College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
