Maria Hernandez

Maria Hernandez is an experienced educational professional with a strong focus on bilingual instruction and individualized teaching strategies. Currently serving as a Private Tutor at Ms. Hernandez' Tutoring Services since September 2012, Maria develops personalized learning plans that address specific student needs in reading and math, while providing bilingual support in Spanish and English. As a Bilingual Teacher in the City School District of New Rochelle since August 2017, Maria specializes in Kindergarten bilingual enrichment. Additional roles include Full-time Substitute at Trinity Elementary School, where age-appropriate learning strategies, literacy, and math instruction are implemented, and Bilingual Teacher for 1st grade dual language programming at Port Chester School District from 2015 to 2017.
