Anat Lea Bonshtien has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of business development, energy, and science. Anat Lea is currently the Vice President of Business Development at City Transformer, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Former Chairwoman and Director of the Smart Mobility Initiative, Israel's Prime Minister's Office from 2012 to 2017. Anat Lea also served as the Acting Chairman and Director of the Fuel Choices and Smart Mobility Initiative in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel in 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Member of the National Science Committee for Energy under the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as a Board of Directors of the Capsula Israeli Smart Transportation Center. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Technology and Regulation Manager at the Fuel Choices Initiative, Prime Minister's Office, a Mimshak Fellow at the Fuel Choices Initiative, and a Scientific Coordinator and Member of the Board of Directors at Kesem Community Environment Monitored Organization. From 2008 to 2011, they were a PostDoc Fellow in Biochemistry at Tel Aviv University.
Anat Lea Bonshtien earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Tel Aviv University between 1998 and 2009.
