Linda Hirsch

Linda Hirsch is an experienced academic and media professional currently serving as the Host and Writer for the EdCast Education Talk Show on CUNY TV since November 2007, focusing on educational issues across all levels. In addition, Linda has held positions as a Professor and WAC Coordinator at Hostos Community College/CUNY since September 1999 and has been a Professor at the same institution since September 1975, specializing in English. Linda also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University in early 2009, teaching Psychology of Language and Reading. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in English Education, Linguistics, and ESL from New York University, an M.A. in English Literature from Stony Brook University, and a B.A. in English from The City College of New York.
