Maite Junco

Maite Junco is an experienced professional who has held various roles in communications and journalism throughout their career. Maite currently serves as Vice Chancellor at The City University of New York. Prior to this, Maite worked as a Senior Advisor/ Director of Communications for James for New York Campaign for Attorney General and as a Senior Advisor for Communications and External Affairs at NYC Department of Education. Maite has a background in journalism and has held editorial positions at New York Daily News and Bloomberg LP. Maite also has experience in campaign management, having served as Campaign Director for the Committee to Re-elect Nydia Velázquez. Maite holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a major in Journalism Studies and certificates in Latin American Studies.
