Mari Watanabe

Mari Watanabe has extensive experience in higher education and research, currently serving as the University Director of Faculty Development and the University Director of Undergraduate Education Initiatives at The City University of New York since August 2009. Additional roles at CUNY have included Managing Director of CITA, Director of Undergraduate Education Initiatives and Research, and Senior Research Associate. Prior experience includes a position as a Consulting Behavior Analyst and Assistant Director at Shamoun Early Learning Center and serving as an Adjunct Instructor in Psychology at Queens College. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus on Learning Processes and Behavior Analysis from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, an M.A. in Psychology from Queens College, and a B.A. in Psychology from Meisei University.
