Matthew Manfredi

Matthew Manfredi is an experienced professional in employee benefits and human resources, currently serving as the Executive Director of Benefits at The City University of New York since September 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at the United States Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration for a decade, rising from Benefits Advisor to Senior Investigator, where responsibilities included conducting investigations and ensuring compliance with ERISA and related laws. Matthew also has consulting expertise from the New York City Civil Service Commission and experience in human resources at the American Civil Liberties Union and St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers. Matthew holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York Law School, a Master of Arts (MA) in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from St. John's University.
