Robert Aboulafia

Robert Aboulafia currently serves as the Executive Director of the CIS Business Office at The City University of New York, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions at the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications from November 2015 to May 2024, including Associate Commissioner for Procurement and Vendor Management, Agency Chief Contracting Officer, and Deputy ACCO. Additionally, Robert served as Agency Chief Contracting Officer at the NYC Department of Finance from January 2013 to October 2015, and as Director of Citywide Purchasing - Services at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services from July 2010 to December 2012. Earlier in Robert's career, a role as Contract Analyst was undertaken at the City of New York Financial Information Services Agency from January 2006 to July 2010. Robert Aboulafia holds an MA in Economics from New York University and a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University.
