Sanna Goyert

Sanna Goyert is a distinguished medical professor with extensive experience in microbiology, immunology, and pathobiology. Currently serving as a medical professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Biomedical Sciences at CUNY School of Medicine since September 2017, Sanna also leads the Department of Pathobiology at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City College of New York. Sanna's academic career includes roles as Professor and Chair in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at CUNY School of Medicine since 2006, as well as an Associate Professor at New York University School of Medicine, and previous positions at North Shore LIJ Health System and Cornell University Medical College. Sanna holds a Ph.D. in Basic Medical Sciences with a focus on Immunology from New York Medicine Jobs and a BS in Medical Technology from the University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences.
