Sissi Liu

Sissi Liu is a Visiting Scholar at Brown University since September 2018, with extensive experience in academia as a PhD Candidate in Theatre and Performance at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where other roles include Presidential Research Fellow and June Bennett Larsen Dissertation Research Fellow. Liu has been actively involved with the Association for Asian Performance since 2013, serving as a Graduate Mentor, Graduate Student Representative, and Board Member. Additional roles include Digital Project Researcher at The New Media Lab and various teaching positions including Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow at Borough of Manhattan Community College and Adjunct Lecturer at Baruch College. Sissi Liu holds multiple degrees from esteemed institutions, including a PhD and M.Phil. from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a Master's degree from the Johns Hopkins University - Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.
