Dave Jacobsen

Dave Jacobsen is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in substation design, project management, and contract administration. Since June 1986, Dave has served as Senior Engineer in Substation Engineering at City Utilities of Springfield, overseeing critical functions such as outage restoration coordination and NERC compliance. Prior to this role, Dave worked at Burns & McDonnell as a Substation Engineer and T&D Project Resident Construction Manager from June 1980 to June 1985, and held the position of Substation Engineer at Western Area Power Administration from June 1983 to June 1984. Dave holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
