Rebecca Tummey

Rebecca Tummey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rebecca most recently served as the Director of Financial Reporting & Control at CityFibre, starting in August 2022.

Before that, Rebecca worked as the Group Finance Director at Pret A Manger from May 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing group reporting, tax, treasury, and transactional finance. Rebecca also played a key role in finance transformation, improving processes and control environment. Additionally, they managed liquidity during the global pandemic, including obtaining funding.

Prior to their role at Pret A Manger, Rebecca held various positions at different companies. Rebecca worked as the Interim Financial Controller at Bill's Restaurants from October 2019 to April 2020. Rebecca also engaged in voluntary work and travel with Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans from May 2019 to September 2019.

Rebecca's experience in the fitness industry includes serving as the Head of Finance at The Gym Group from September 2018 to April 2019, and as the Group Financial Controller from February 2016 to September 2018.

Rebecca took a career break and traveled from February 2015 to January 2016. Prior to that, Rebecca worked at RB (formerly known as Reckitt Benckiser) in various roles, including Marketing Finance Controller, Senior Finance Manager - Consolidation, and Finance Manager. Rebecca'sresponsibilities ranged from financial planning and analysis to coordinating group reporting and consolidation.

Rebecca began their career at KPMG Audit in September 2003, where they worked as an Audit Manager. Rebecca'sexperience included working with a wide range of clients and industries, handling consolidation and statutory accounts, and managing audit engagements.

Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, control, and transformation.

Rebecca Tummey completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford in 2003. Prior to that, they attended Chase High School in Malvern from 1993 to 2000. In 2006, Rebecca also obtained the ACA qualification in Accountancy from ICAEW.
