David Connolly

David Connolly is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in fleet management and procurement. Serving as Vice President of Fleet at CityJet from September 2016 to November 2024, David was a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, focusing on fleet and cost management, strategic supplier management, and governance. Prior roles include Director of Procurement & Asset Management and General Manager of Procurement & Programmes at CityJet, emphasizing cost control and contract negotiation. Currently, David holds the position of Head of Fleet Planning & Procurement at the Strategic Alliance of Regional Airlines Ltd. since November 2023. Additional experience includes roles at Viasat Inc. as Senior Program Manager and Managing Director at Decavia. David holds a Master’s Degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield School of Management and is pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA.
