Juuso Koponen

Juuso Koponen is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in flight operations and management. Currently serving as Captain for the Bombardier CRJ900 fleet at CityJet since February 2016, Koponen previously held roles as First Officer, Deputy Flight Operations Manager, and Deputy Training Manager at Redstar Aviation, specializing in ambulance and charter flights predominantly across the Middle East and Europe. Earlier experience includes serving as a First Officer at Direktflyg and working as an Aviation Consultant. As Chief Pilot at MAF Mongolia, Koponen was responsible for flight operations and crew training. Academically, Koponen holds an MSc in Air Transport Management from City, University of London, obtained between 2018 and 2022.
