Iris Verstraaten

Iris Verstraaten is currently a Master Stagiaire in the field of behavioral science at CityKids, having begun this role in September 2023. Iris has a diverse background in working with children, evidenced by experience as a Studentbegeleider at BeActive, where engaging and educational activities are organized for children with specific support needs. Prior to this, Iris served as a Pedagogisch medewerker at Aethon.nl, supporting children aged 0-13 across various childcare locations. Additionally, Iris has held a position as a Schaduwtutor in Pedagogical Sciences at Erasmus University, assisting first-year students in problem-based learning settings. Collectively, Iris’s educational journey includes a Bachelor in Pedagogical Sciences and a Master in Orthopedagogy from Erasmus University Rotterdam, alongside a minor in Ethics in Innovative Healthcare from Erasmus MC.
