Citymeals on Wheels
Gayle Snible currently serves as the Manager of Press & Communications for Citymeals on Wheels since May 2023. Previously, Gayle held the position of Communications Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives, working with Congressman Jamaal Bowman, where responsibilities included writing constituent communications and coordinating media interactions. Gayle has extensive volunteer experience, co-chairing the Electoral Working Group for the Democratic Socialists of America, where initiatives included developing communication strategies for endorsed campaigns. Additionally, Gayle was the Communications Director for Andom Ghebreghiorgis for Congress, overseeing media relations and messaging. With past roles as Director of Public Relations at The New York Botanical Garden and Assistant Director of Communication at the School of Visual Arts, Gayle has a solid background in public relations across diverse sectors. Gayle's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Sociology from Arizona State University.

Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to New York City’s homebound elderly. Each year, Citymeals prepares and delivers over 2 million weekend, holiday and emergency meals for nearly 22,000 of our vulnerable older neighbors. 100% of all public donations will be used entirely for the preparation and delivery of meals, thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors, the City of New York, sponsors and other designated gifts.
