Citymeals on Wheels provides a continuous lifeline of nourishing meals and vital companionship to New York City’s homebound elderly. Each year, Citymeals prepares and delivers over 2 million weekend, holiday and emergency meals for nearly 22,000 of our vulnerable older neighbors.

100% of all public donations will be used entirely for the preparation and delivery of meals, thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors, the City of New York, sponsors and other designated gifts.

The Volunteer and Community Engagement team at Citymeals on Wheels fosters and manages relationships with volunteers and community partners to support the delivery of nourishing meals and companionship to New York City's homebound elderly. This team coordinates volunteer activities, including meal delivery, checks in on seniors through the Senior Chat Program, and facilitates community outreach initiatives to increase volunteer participation and public support.
