Gabi Burke, CPA

Gabi Burke, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of accounting. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Compliance Intern at Tocqueville Asset Management, assisting in organizing compliance documents and providing administrative support. In 2015, they joined the WVU Athletic Department as an Athletic Tutor, helping student-athletes succeed in their business courses. Later, in 2016, they had an Audit Internship at Maher Duessel. Gabi then returned to Maher Duessel in 2017 and worked their way up to become a Senior Auditor. Gabi played a key role in providing audit, tax, and consulting services to governmental and non-profit clients. In 2021, they advanced to the role of Audit Supervisor at Maher Duessel, where they continued to contribute to the firm's mission of promoting the public good through expert technical services. Most recently, in 2022, Gabi joined Citynet as an Assistant Controller, further expanding their skillset and professional experience.

Gabi Burke, CPA, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from West Virginia University, where they attended from 2013 to 2017. Gabi obtained their CPA certification from the PA Board of Accountancy in August 2018.
