Cityscape Schools
Keyla Betancourt is a dedicated special education professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Cityscape Schools East Grand Preparatory since August 2017, Keyla specializes in assessing student needs, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and adapting lessons to ensure each student's success. Prior to this role, Keyla was a Special Education Coordinator at the Municipal School District of San Juan from September 2013 to October 2017, where responsibilities included collaboration with staff to plan special services, training teachers, and evaluating programs. Keyla's career began at the Municipal School System of San Juan as a Special Education Teacher from August 2012 to September 2013, further honing skills in individualized instruction and student assessment. Keyla holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico.
