Patrick Thomas

Patrick Thomas is an experienced professional in public works and civil engineering, currently serving as the Director of Government Relations at Cityside Fiber since July 2024. Patrick has held prominent positions including Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Temecula from December 2016 to July 2024 and the City of Murrieta from July 2007 to November 2012. Previous roles also include Public Works Director at the City of Carlsbad and Director of Public Works at the City of Escondido, with a solid foundation as Deputy Public Works Director at the City of Newport Beach and Senior Engineer at the City of Irvine. Education includes a Master of Public Administration from California State University-Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration from California State University-San Marcos, complemented by a Bachelor's of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Washington State University.
