Maribel Ramos

Maribel Ramos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in federal government relations and legislative affairs. Currently serving as the Director of Federal Government Relations at the National Women's Law Center since May 2023, Maribel previously held the position of Legislative Director at the National Governors Association from April 2019 to April 2023. Additional roles include Policy Director for Kaine for Senate, Virginia Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for Governor McAuliffe, and Legislative Assistant for Senators Tim Kaine and Jim Webb. Maribel's early career included a Special Assistant position to the Governor of Virginia and a Latino Liaison role under Governor Mark Warner, along with experience at the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Maribel's educational background includes attendance at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
