Pádraig Cronin

Pádraig Cronin is a software engineer with experience in the industry since 2020. In 2021, they worked as an Undergraduate Software Developer at Jaguar Land Rover Ireland, where they worked on an Agile team developing a tool for collecting vehicle analytical data. Pádraig added features such as a REST API using Golang and functional tests to the CI/CD pipeline made using bash scripts. In 2020, they worked as a Student Intern at Pramerica, where they created an "Acronym Chatbot" using ReactJS, Amazon Lex and Amazon Lambda to help fellow interns easily find the definitions of acronyms they encountered. Pádraig also used ReactJS, GraphQL and several AWS services such as Amplify, AppSync and DynamoDB to create an "API Catalogue" application allowing CRUD operations and boasting real time updates. Currently, they are a Graduate Software Engineer at CitySwift.

Pádraig Cronin attended University College Cork from 2018 to 2022 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Programming.
