Jennifer Welser, DVM, DACVO has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Jennifer has held positions such as Chief Strategy Officer at CityVet and Member of the Board of Advisors at MySimplePetLab and Hilltop Bio. Jennifer was the CMO & Co-Founder at UnoDose Partners, LLP, where they developed a patented disposable ophthalmic medication applicator. Jennifer also served as the Chief Medical Officer at Mars Veterinary Health and BluePearl Veterinary Partners. Prior to that, they owned their own business, Veterinary Eye Specialists, and worked as a Staff Ophthalmologist at Angell Memorial Animal Medical Center.
Jennifer Welser, DVM, DACVO graduated from the University of Vermont in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology & French. Jennifer then attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 1992 to 1996, where they earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). Following their veterinary degree, Jennifer completed a Rotating Small Animal Internship at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine from 1996 to 1997. In 1999, they became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology after completing their residency at Animal Eye Associates from 1997 to 1999.
