William R. Sellers

William R. Sellers is a Core Institute Member, Broad Institute, Professor of Medicine at HMS and DFCI. Former VP/Global Head of Oncology at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research. Led preclinical drug discovery for 11 years, ~40 therapeutics entered phase I with 6 NDA approvals and multiple ongoing phase III programs. Co-led CART JSC with Carl June MD. Board member of Peloton Therapeutics, SAB member of Ideaya Biosciences and Epidarex Capital. Previously he co-led cancer genetic programs with Matthew Meyerson leading to the discovery of EGFR mutations in lung cancer, and the role of MITF in melanoma.
