Josh Nelson

Josh Nelson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in progressive advocacy and digital communications. As the Chief Executive Officer of Civic Shout since September 2021, Nelson leads an ad platform that empowers progressive causes to effectively engage supporters. Concurrently, as a Partner at The Juggernaut Project, Nelson aids non-profits and socially-responsible businesses in growing their email lists. Nelson's previous roles include President of Kennedy Heights Group, where efforts focused on mobilizing supporters through various communications channels, and Vice President at CREDO Mobile, overseeing multiple teams and managing substantial budgets. Early career accomplishments include serving as Director of Online Communications at The Alliance For Climate Protection and founding EnviroKnow, a climate and energy policy blog recognized by major national media. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University.
