Sara Abate

Sara Abate serves as the Divisional Finance Director for the Local Government & Housing and Criminal Justice Services divisions at Civica since January 2017, playing a key role in the Senior Leadership Team and overseeing the commercial and financial activities of the division. Prior to Civica, Sara held various finance roles at IBM from November 2006 to January 2017, including Divisional Finance Director for Local Government, Commercial Finance Manager for the Westpac Account, BU Controller for the Systems Group, and Finance Manager for both Strategic Outsourcing and Services Delivery, managing significant financial portfolios. Sara's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney.
