Fen Labalme

Fen Labalme, CISSP, has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. They have worked as a Chief Information Security Officer at CivicActions since 2005, where they focus on incorporating security best practices into development projects for government clients. Fen Labalme also worked as the CTO at 2idi Corporation from 2004 to 2007 and as a Co-founder and CTO at Identity Commons from 2003 to 2005. They have a strong background in privacy protection and creating trust networks. Earlier in their career, Fen Labalme held positions at organizations such as Comedia, OpenPrivacy.org, Lumeria, Inc., O'Reilly Media, General Magic, and Oracle, where they demonstrated their expertise in technology management, software development, and network architecture.

Fen Labalme, CISSP, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1981. In 2019, Fen obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Additionally, in 2016, Fen obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
