Tui McInnes

Tui McInnes is currently a Senior Advisor in the Emerging Technologies Programme at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, Tui worked at MetService from 2014 to August 2025, serving as the NZ Government Sector Account Manager, where responsibilities included managing relationships and partnerships within the government sector and strategic relationship management with key stakeholders. Tui also held multiple meteorological roles at MetService, including General Meteorologist, Marine Meteorologist, Public Meteorologist, and Aviation Meteorologist, with expertise recognized as a WMO Class 1/BIP-M Meteorologist. Tui holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Meteorology and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, both from Victoria University of Wellington.
