Alfred Qiu Dezhi

Alfred Qiu Dezhi is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in personnel licensing, aviation safety, and repair design. Since March 2018, Alfred has served as a Senior Manager at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, focusing on developing licensing standards and ensuring safety oversight for flight crews and aviation training organizations. Prior to this role, Alfred spent over two years at Cyient as an Integrated Product Team Lead, leading engineering teams for aftermarket repair design for Pratt & Whitney engine components. Alfred's career began at Pratt & Whitney, where design work supported various commercial engine components. Alfred also held a position as Defence Executive Officer at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, focusing on capability development and process improvement, and served as a Senior Technician in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Alfred holds an MBA from Singapore Management University, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.
