Jennifer Ranson

Jennifer Ranson serves as the Branch Manager at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority since December 2022, overseeing organisational strategy, change management, portfolio programs, project management, and information management. Previous roles include Director at the Australian Government Department of Finance and Assistant Secretary at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Ranson has held multiple senior positions in various governmental departments, including the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, and the Australian Workforce and Productivity Agency, where responsibilities comprised policy and program management, especially in primary industries and natural resource management. Ranson possesses a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from The Australian National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Newcastle, along with ongoing studies for a Bachelor of Economics at the University of New England. Additional contributions include serving as Chief Information Governance Officer and chairing the CASA Abilities Network.
