Lembit Suur currently serves as Chairperson of the Board Audit and Risk Committee at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and as a Director of the Estonian Cultural Foundation in Australia, which allocates small community grants. Lembit holds the position of Managing Director at ELESS Pty Ltd and Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee at the National Emergency Management Agency. Lembit has been involved as a member in the Review of Domestic Commercial Vessel Safety Legislation and Costs and Charging Arrangements. Previously, Lembit chaired the Performance and Results Network at OECD - OCDE and served as First Assistant Secretary at the Department of Finance for nearly two decades. Lembit also held the role of Secretary at the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal. Educational qualifications include an Executive Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a GMQ in Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
