Paul Grimes

Paul Grimes has extensive experience in aviation, specializing in helicopter pilot training and charter operations. Currently serving as a Flight Examiner and Base Manager at Touchdown Helicopters since April 2017, Paul oversees pilot training in various categories including PPL, CPL, and Low Level. Additionally, since October 2020, Paul has held a Flight Examiner position with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Previous roles include Grade 1 Helicopter Instructor at Ansett Aviation and Skyline Aviation Group, where Paul contributed to helicopter training and charter operations. Paul's earlier career included a notable tenure as Director of Food & Beverage for Starwood Hotels & Resorts and as Restaurants Manager at Ritz Carlton Sydney. Paul holds an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from TAFE NSW and a Higher School Certificate from Keira High School.
