Lee Fahey has a strong background in the civil contracting industry. Lee has been associated with the CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW since 2014, serving as both the President (from October 2021 onwards) and a Board Member (from January 2014 to October 2021). Additionally, Lee Fahey has served as the Managing Director of Menai Civil Contractors since October 2002. Lee has also held the position of NSW State Representative for the Civil Contractors Federation National from January 2019 to October 2021.

Lee Fahey completed the Corporate Governance course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science from Western Sydney University between 1990 and 1992. Their secondary education was completed at Hurlstone Agricultural High School, where they earned their HSC between 1983 and 1988.

The Civil Contractors Federation NSW Branch (CCF NSW) is the leading voice of the civil infrastructure construction and maintenance industry in NSW. The Civil Contractors Federation is: a Registered Organisation under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009, the only organisation in Australia charged with representing all, and only, employers in the civil infrastructure construction and maintenance industry. With nearly 500 NSW employer Members, ranging from Tier 1 ASX listed multi-national firms to single person businesses, 45% of which are located in regional and rural NSW, CCF NSW represents a diverse membership bound by a common interest in building the civil infrastructure this State so desperately needs.
