Khyraa Mitchell Eit

Khyraa Mitchell, EIT, currently serves as a Transportation Project Engineer at Civil Design, Inc. since October 2021. Previously, Khyraa held the position of BIM Specialist Civil at HDR from April 2019 to October 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in Howard University's Science, Engineering and Mathematics (HUSEM) Program, where Khyraa organized and managed extensive data sets. Additionally, Khyraa contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego's ARMOR Lab, conducting experiments on carbon nanotubes and CFRP panels. Khyraa's career began with an internship at HNTB as a Transportation Engineering Intern, focusing on As-Built markups and meeting documentation. Khyraa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Howard University in 2018.
