Mpp Nahid Paiman

Nahid Paiman holds a Master of Public Policy with a focus on International Development from The George Washington University, completed in December 2022. With extensive experience in policy roles, Nahid has served as a Senior Policy Associate, Senior Policy Assistant, and Policy Assistant at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights since June 2019. Previous roles include Government Affairs Associate at the American Public Works Association and freelance translator for VICE Media. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Affairs from Skidmore College and a study abroad program in International Relations and Economic Development at SOAS University of London. Early experience also includes internships at the National Democratic Institute and the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission, as well as a research assistant position at Skidmore College.
