Samantha Cyrulnik-Dercher is the Senior Manager of the Fair Courts Program at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Prior to this role, Samantha served as the Federal Policy Director at SIECUS and held various positions at the U.S. House of Representatives, including Deputy Legislative Director and Legislative Counsel. Samantha also has experience as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice and has worked in roles such as Development Intern at Ensemble Studio Theatre and Research Intern at Student Conservation Association. Samantha holds a JD from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Political Science from The George Washington University.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights is a coalition charged by its diverse membership of more than 250 national organizations to promote and protect the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. Through advocacy and outreach to targeted constituencies, The Leadership Conference works toward the goal of a more open and just society – an America as good as its ideals. The Leadership Conference is a 501(c)(4) organization that engages in legislative advocacy. It was founded in 1950 and has coordinated national lobbying efforts on behalf of every major civil rights law since 1957.
