Nicholas Kaiser

Nicholas Kaiser is a seasoned software and data engineer with extensive experience at Civitas Learning since September 2015, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer. Their expertise includes mentoring new Data Engineers, leading ETL feature development projects, and significant contributions to projects involving data extraction from learning management systems. Prior to Civitas Learning, Nicholas held various roles, including Faculty Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where tasks included developing analytical chemistry curricula and managing large data sets for solar applications research. Nicholas began their research career with positions at Gannon University, Penn State University, and LORD Corporation, focusing on computational modeling, CO2 flux analysis, and corrosion-resistant thin films. Nicholas holds a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Gannon University, complemented by a minor in Statistics.
