Sonya Desai

Sonya Desai is an experienced professional in public affairs and political communications, currently serving as an Associate at Civitas Public Affairs Group since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sonya worked as an Account Executive at Ogilvy Cambridge and as a Policy Assistant at the American Academy of Nursing. Experience includes serving as Deputy Finance Director at Advanced Network Strategies, LLC, and interning at HIPS, the U.S. House of Representatives under Congressman Steny H. Hoyer, and Advanced Network Strategies as a Political Fundraising Associate. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice from The George Washington University and graduated from Montville Township High School.
