Troy Owens

Troy Owens is an experienced engineer with a strong background in asset development and completion engineering within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Development Lead at Civitas Resources since November 2021, Troy previously held a similar role at Extraction Oil & Gas, where responsibilities included overseeing horizontal drilling and completion operations. Earlier positions include Field Engineer at Liberty Oilfield Services, SCADA Intern at QEP Resources, and roles in application engineering and production internships at Spectra Logic and Petroleum Development Corporation, respectively. Troy holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
