Phillip Dreizen has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. Phillip began their career as an Application Developer at Goldman Sachs, where they worked with C++, Perl scripting, and Java. In 2008, they became a Software Developer at Turings Craft Inc. From 2009-2012, they were an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College, teaching courses such as Data Structures using C++ and Advanced Programming Techniques using C++. In 2011, they became the Lead Developer and Chief Technology Officer at Tomorrowish, where they built a system in Python that grabbed millions of tweets and synced them to TV show schedules, and developed a heuristic for weighing the relevance of each tweet for a given show against the novelty of the tweet in the context of its stream. Phillip also developed the front end in jQuery. In 2012, they were the Lead Software Developer at Turings Craft, where they developed CodeLab, a web-based application used by students taking introductory college programming courses. In 2021, they became a Software Engineer at Bluelink, and in 2022, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Civitech.

Phillip Dreizen obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Philosophy from Brooklyn College between 2004 and 2006.
