Ben Billings

Ben Billings has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ben currently serves as the Vice President of Civix's Land & Grants unit, where they are responsible for business development, strategic planning, and client services across multiple divisions. Prior to their role at Civix, Ben worked as a Principal at Sentinel Strategies. Ben also served as the President & CEO of the Offshore Marine Service Association. Ben has a background in policy advising and legislative work, having held various roles in the United States Senate, including Senior Policy Advisor, Staff Director, Professional Staff, and Legislative Aide.

Ben Billings has a strong education background with degrees and certificates in various fields. Ben earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History & Business from The University of Texas at Austin between 1999 and 2003. Following that, from 2003 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Peace & Security from King's College London. Ben continued their education at the U.S. Naval War College from 2005 to 2008, where they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security & Strategic Studies. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Weapons of Mass Destruction from the Uniformed Services University between 2006 and 2007.
