Ben Pieper

Ben Pieper has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Ben began their career as a Forms Processing employee at Gateway Distribution in 2003 and stayed until 2009. In 2009, they joined Equifax Workforce Solutions as a Product Development Intern and later became an Associate Development Engineer, where they contributed to various projects involving data linking, W-4 data loading, and ETL applications. Ben progressed to the role of Development Engineer, where they led the development of a loader application and assisted in maintaining an employer file split application. Ben then became a Senior Application Developer, responsible for enhancing legacy ETL applications and leading the development of a data comparison and reconciliation application. As a Technical Lead at Equifax, they led a migration project to the company's cloud-native technology stack. In 2019, Ben moved to Motility Software Solutions as a Web Application Developer, where they worked on the conversion of a large-scale document management system to a web application using ASP.NET and Telerik Kendo UI web controls. Ben'smost recent role is as a Senior .NET Developer at Civix since 2020, where they primarily work with ASP.NET MVC and has been involved in upgrading a Xamarin Forms front-end UI to MAUI Blazor using SyncFusion UI components.

Ben Pieper attended McKendree University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition, they obtained a certification as a SAFe Agile Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2014.
