Josh Mesout has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Josh currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Civo since December 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at AstraZeneca from 2015 to 2023, where they served as the Enterprise AI Platform and Operations Lead, leading the development and management of the company's Enterprise Data Science and Machine learning Platforms. Josh also worked as a Senior Innovation Technologist in the Technology Innovation Lab, where they utilized emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, DevOps, Big Data, and Augmented Reality to develop solutions for pharmaceutical business problems.

Josh also had a brief tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an external collaborator, serving as an AWS Machine Learning Certification Exam Writer, primarily focused on the Life Sciences Industry.

In addition, they worked as an Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, where they built and delivered financial reporting processes critical to the bank's compliance and governance.

Josh'searly career experience includes a role as a Research Analyst in IT Systems at Eli Lilly and Company, where they designed, built, and released applications to optimize and automate R&D drug discovery processes.

Josh Mesout has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Business Computing from Bournemouth University. Josh also has additional certifications including AWS Subject Matter Expert from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in September 2019, and Cisco Certified Networking Associate Level 3 from Cisco obtained in January 2011.
